Oli Migjorn is a little project dedicated to olive trees cultivar and the production of extra virgin ecological oil. The quality, the local olive variety recovery and the land synergy are our day to day main purposes.
The quality is one of the most important achievements of the project. The field work, the ecological treatment, the olives optimal harvesting and the use of modern equipment for the oil elaboration are the key of everything. The result is a unique, high-quality and nearby product.
This is a young and fascinating project born in 2007, which had the will of recovering an old country house located in Navàs, by Cardener valley, in the south of Cardona, which is at the same time in Bages region, Barcelona.
Some plantations of Arbequina olive trees are the first steps to start producing extra virgin oil. Later on, the company takes a new and clear direction: to recover the local and original variety from the Cardener’s river surroundings: The Corbella variety.
The project produces and commercializes extra virgin oil of different olive types: Corbella, Arbequina and Picual . From the Arbequina type it makes natural flavoured ecological olive oils (by infusion), which are very special to combine with our daily cuisine.
